In late June we sent out a Spring Appeal letter to our past and donors, inviting them to give a boost to the 2015 Annual Campaign by contributing an additional gift in 2015 this summer! To date, our supporters have given the 2015 campaign a $8,000 boost. These gifts will help us increase our grant support enabling our nonprofit partners to increase the impact they have here in Jefferson County.
Thanks to our generous donors, United Good Neighbors of Jefferson County has been able to increase the amount we grant to our nonprofit partners! This year we granted a total of $247,000 to address critical needs in our communities:
- $200,000 granted 21 nonprofits serving Jefferson County
- $47,000 in donor designated funds
An additional $20,000 set aside for emergency funding to support our nonprofit partners
