Volunteer Your Time and Talent!
Help UGN kick-off our Fall Fund Drive by sharing your time and talent! As a local business, community group or community member, United Good Neighbors would like to extend a special invitation to join us for our 6th annual Day of Caring Event on Friday, September 16th. Day of Caring is an opportunity for you and your friends or colleagues to work together on a volunteer project with a local nonprofit organization. Volunteer Projects are 2-3 hours in length and include a variety of volunteer activities that can range from gardening and grounds maintenance to painting and basic building maintenance projects or food repacking and sorting clothing!
The UGN Day of Caring celebrates our community’s spirit of volunteerism and service in Jefferson County. Jefferson County nonprofit organizations depend on volunteers to carry out their missions. UGN matches local businesses and community members with nonprofit organizations seeking help with a specific task or project.
This event also serves as the celebratory kick-off to our 2016 Fall Fund Drive to support a safety net of services and programs in Jefferson County that improve the quality of life for our neighbors in need!
