United Good Neighbors invites your community group or nonprofit to submit a project for the 6th Annual Day of Caring!  Your project can be a part of an amazing  Day of Caring event this year: more organizations, more projects and more volunteers!

Day of Caring  is a great way to connect with the community while getting an essential project accomplished for your organization.

The deadline for project registration is August 15th !

You can find out more about registering a project by contacting UGN at 360-385-3797

To register a project, your organization must meet the following criteria:

  1. Be a Jefferson County 501c3 nonprofit, school, city, park, or a community group
  2. Be able to provide all supplies necessary for the project and cover all costs associated with the project
  3. Have a dedicated staff person who will be in charge of communicating with United Good Neighbors and with the volunteer group before Day of Caring and supervising volunteers on Day of Caring.

A few things to keep in mind before registering your project:

  1. Projects should take place between 9 am and 1:00 pm on Friday, September 16 or Saturday, September 17th (alternate times can be negotiated with volunteer group)
  2. There are no limits to what volunteers can help out with, so be creative! If you’d like some help developing a volunteer project, contact Emily Henry at Emily@weareugn.org
  3. Whether you need 3 volunteers or 25, there is a volunteer group for you. Just make sure you have enough work to keep everyone busy!
