Register a Volunteer Project for UGN’s 2016 Day of Caring!
United Good Neighbors invites your community group or nonprofit to submit a project for the 6th Annual Day of Caring! Your project can be a part of an amazing Day of Caring event this year: more organizations, more projects and more volunteers!
Day of Caring is a great way to connect with the community while getting an essential project accomplished for your organization.
The deadline for project registration is August 15th !

To register a project, your organization must meet the following criteria:
- Be a Jefferson County 501c3 nonprofit, school, city, park, or a community group
- Be able to provide all supplies necessary for the project and cover all costs associated with the project
- Have a dedicated staff person who will be in charge of communicating with United Good Neighbors and with the volunteer group before Day of Caring and supervising volunteers on Day of Caring.
- Have read and accepted the Day of Caring Partner Agency Agreement
A few things to keep in mind before registering your project:
- Projects should take place between 9 am and 1:00 pm on Friday, September 16 or Saturday, September 17th (alternate times can be negotiated with volunteer group)
- There are no limits to what volunteers can help out with, so be creative! If you’d like some help developing a volunteer project, contact Emily Henry at Emily@weareugn.org
- Whether you need 3 volunteers or 25, there is a volunteer group for you. Just make sure you have enough work to keep everyone busy!
